turning over a new leaf

in recent times i have put on weight. no, seriously i have. after being unable to fit into my thin pants (i.e the pants tht i could fit in when i was a mere 46 kilos, god i miss those days) i have decided to take drastic actions: firstly, i signed up for the monthly membership at the gym. went today and got it down, did 20 mins on the threadmill and another 20 on tht funny runny machine where u move ur hands wit the bar...i dunno wat its called. total calories burnt? 198 cal. good stuff. my aim? to go from 52 kilos to 45 kilos before i go home for the hols. i have exactly 7 weeks.
then me and deepa did all kinds of sit ups...man, this woman knows her exercise! i ddint realise there was so many ways to do sit ups and crunches, apparently different ones work different abdominal muscles. did a little bit of weights too, but didnt want to do too many because i have a phobia tht my arms will become like madonnas: manly and horridly ugly.
oh ya, and i went swimming yesterday. thk i did like 5 laps. lol. but it was fun. looking fwd to more fothergill fun.
n tommorow is med ball!!! i have no idea how im gonna do my hair. recent events have left me completely broke (read: my 21st, fren's bdays, med ball tickets, year 12 formal, MAC professional make up for yr 12 formal, hair done for bday bash at marrakech, gym memebership) so i might jus turn up wit bad hair. thk i might actually straighten it..only prob is deepa's straightener isnt tht good and carol lives too far away. hmm. i shud get a GHD straightener coz u can use it to curl ur hair too!! how awesome!and its really easy to do. for those of u who dont know, GHD actually stands for good hair day. lol. and i saw it in kellyn's cosmo magazine. it cost like 300 bucks. ya right. like im gonna fork out tht much on myself.
oh well, shit happens. plus, i doubt there would be much good lookin guys at med ball.
so having a bad hair day tommorw isnt too bad i guess. lol.
