goodbye melbourne, hello malaysia!!

time flies. WAAAAAYY to fast.

yesterday i was a naive 19 yr old embarking on a foreign journey to fulfil my lifelong dream of studyin overseas.
today, im all packed, getting ready to head home, as a 21 yr old, a soon to be clinical student.
my flight is tomm morning, and as excited as i am to be seeing my paula, my family and my frens, part of me is dreading the change tht will come when i return next yr.
melbourne just wont be the same for me.
change isnt necesarily bad, but i am a creature of habit, and change to me means leaving my comfort zone.
2006 was one hell of a year for me, wit more downs than ups, but hey, shit happens. a lot.
do i wish i could take it all back?no, i dont, because these experiences have moulded me into a better person. as hassan says "i've seen you grow this last few months, your more mature now"
but every now n then, THAT feeling crawls back into the depths of my neurotic mind.
oh well, in any case, i jus wanted to wish everyone HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

the pre clinical dinner was really good!! definitely worth the 35 bucks...u get awesome entrees which included oyrsters, prawns, all kinds of salads, and desert was really good to! although most ppl thought the mains wasnt tht good but hey, the entrees were good enough as mains for me! and u also get 3 drinks wit tht 35 bucks.
abt 70-80 ppl turned up, and it was a fun night..
im too tired to talk more so il jus leave u wit photos..

affect: extremely tired. mood: depressed, sad.

post exams have been far more tiring than exams itself! probably because i've been so busy doing things this week:

tuesday: spent the whole afternoon helping out wit yr 4 osces. and then at night it was PFE partying till 3 am.

wednesday: woke up at 7 am, went to MSC at 10 am in the darn rain, had lunch at banana leaf and spent the rest of the day packin all my shit.

Thursday (today): woke up at 7 am again, headed off to Albert Park's sports and rec centre for a swim (pics below). reached home at like 3, headed of to chaddy at 5, went over to hassan's place for pulao and got back at 10pm.

Friday: i have my blood donation at 10 am, will be heading off to the post office to do my working with children check which is a freakin pain in the a** if u ask me (isnt a police check enough???) after tht i have to collect my photos from chaddy. and then its the pre clinical dinner @ crown!! im excited, unfortunately im too tired to show it. im drained.

Weekend plans include: shifting all my thing's to Kanooka Grove, meeting up wit ppl i must see before i leave (Tania, Sarah, Vasi, Gaush, Shasti, Dan, Ella, Cuki, Amigos peeps, etc etc etc)

No one ever said post exams was suppose to be this tiring.

anyways here's the pics from our swim today...it was meant to be a last outing for our tute group...well only 6 ppl from our old tute group turned out...but oh well, it was fun anyways!
thanks so much for all u guys who took the effort to come, and didnt try comin up wit lame excuses for not comin, or worst still didnt even reply saying whether u wud come or not..
oh well, i tried...
but then again, fun doesn require huge numbers. It requires ppl wit a huge zest for life. just like pete, josh, din, mandira, bec, KK, & of course Deepa :)
