marrakech was awesome!!

so tonight was my party, and even though it ended a lot earlier than expected (the party was over before 2 am!!) i had a blast!!! marrakech is an awesome place, the food was so worth the money i had to fork out and the service was great!!anyways, its 6 am and im too tired to write much..so here's the pics:

ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW!!!

so i finally got the pics from the royal melbourne show form kellyn!!! YEAY!!
for those of u tht dont know, the royal melbourne show is this carnival like fun fair thingy held annually during the school holidays somewhere in september for like 10 days..
there's rides, games, shows, exhibitions, and just a whole lot of fun!!!

jem's cousin ryan (whom i kept callin bryan!sorry!) ming, kellyn, me and jem @ the show!!

and of couse me being me, i couldnt resist going on the most adrenaline pumping rides..the best one being this one called SPEED..

dogs werent the only animals at the show..there were horses..

ok ok, so u guys are probably sick of my touchy-lovey-dovey post abt my family.. but this one is a must; a tribute to the one who gave me life: my amma =)
i turned 21 on tuesday, and on tht day, my mom gave me the best present ever, a 3 page handwritten letter to me, her once rebellious teenage daughter.

i think over the years i've realised that the inherited Ponniah nose is not the only thing i have in common with my mom; we share many similar traits. we'r e both the youngest (my mom had 4 siblings), which probably explains why we are both quite stubborn and like gettin things our way =p. we both love eating, and we both constantly complain that we are fat, yet non of us really make a consistent effort at trying to overcome it (sorry amma!)plus, the number of times ppl have told me tht i look like my mom when she was younger (which i used to hate..lol) is amazing..

Anyways, just like my sis, growing up i hated my mom. as all rebellious teenagers say, i felt like she was constricting my freedom.. but now i realise tht it was all for my own good as i was bit of a wild child.. haha..

thanks for the most awesome bday guys!!

so the suprise bday at 12 am wasnt the highlight of my bday..i went to the royal melbourne show the next day (photos will come later amma, once i get them of kellyn) and then shasti & deepa organised a suprise bday dinner for me at chapelli's (thanks guys, u guys rock!)
it was really appreciated..thanks for makin my 21st really really special and unforgetable..

ur the most awesome friend i have, god knows wat im gonna do without u.. =(
i thk the world could use a whole lot more deepas simply because she's an awesome, genuine, sweet, caring, non judgemental, man, the list could go on.. but most importantly, she's the only one who really understands me and totally can stand my mood swings and can never annoy me ..jem, we need to start populating the world with more milo coloured babies like deepa..lol
